Born in Windsor, UK, now residing in Brighton, DMNIQ (pronounced ‘Dominique’) is a queer music artist, songwriter and producer of alternative tracks. Classically trained in piano and voice, they take major influence from cinematic and choral styles, as a great lover of film scores and soundtracks, inspired by the likes of SYML, Olafur Arnalds, RY X and London Grammar.
DMNIQ is on a mission to help people feel, heal and connect through their music touching on themes including personal growth, spirituality, nature and transition.
DMNIQ has collaborated with many TV and film composers including the likes of Christian Reindl, with their song ‘A Little Higher’ featuring in the popular LA TV Show, ‘The L Word: Generation Q’ and Amazon Prime’s show ‘The One That Got Away’. DMNIQ has also collaborated with other established composers including the likes of Paul Sanderson and Gavin Luke and had music featured on the likes of Netflix, HBO Max, BBC, Sky, Showtime and more.
